Mind Map Your Business for 2016
I’m a very visual person and find that is true, even more so as I get older. I’ve heard many people say that they learn much easier with visuals. This coming New Year of 2016 is going to be a good year for many of us who have finally found our way. So, this week I began thinking about my business plans for the coming year and I thought I would share how to Mind Map Your Business for 2016.
I do have to admit this is my first time at using a Mind Map. The more I looked at examples and began to work with one of my own, the more it made sense and I began to see what I need to do in order to make 2016 an awesome year.

I did a little bit more research and found another one that I like a little better called MindMups, because it seems more user friendly. >>>Get MindMups
The second one, MindMup can be saved to Google Drive so it is accessible at all times.
You can use the Mind Mapping method to plan your daily or weekly business tasks. Below you can see a beginning example of my mind map that I will be working from in 2016.
A Mind Map is never set in stone. It is meant to be changed and I suggest reviewing it every month and absolutely do “NOT” let it go past each quarter of the year without reviewing and editing your Mind Map.
I have also used MindMup and written down my financial goals for the first quarter of 2016 and I will increase the goals for the second, third and fourth quarters. An example of this, especially if you are new to online marketing;
Say your earning goal is:
First quarter goal is to earn $25.00 per day for 5 days, which comes to $125.00 per week x 4 = $500 per month.
Second quarter increase it to $50.00 per day for 5 days, which comes to $250.00 per week x 4 = $1000.00 per month.
Third quarter would be $75.00 per day for 5 days, which comes to $375.00 per week x 4 = $1500.00 per month.
Fourth quarter $100.00 per day for 5 days, which comes to $500.00 per week x 4 = $2000.00 per month.
Not a shabby goal to set for yourself, is it?
This is just a rough example to start the new year with. Create a Mind Map of your financial goals and adjust to suit your situation. Below is a short MindMup Introduction Video to help you get started.
Of course, if you surpass any of these goals, make sure you have kept your tracking in place so you know exactly where these sales have come from, so you can “rinse and repeat.”
One bad habit I will correct in 2016 is tracking. I will be documenting and keeping track and testing more. For example, I had four sales on Amazon the last few days and I have no way to track them or know where they came from. So I don’t know what is working and what is not working.
That’s a “very bad habit” to get into, so start out on the right foot. Track, Test, Change if needed, Repeat.
I know how scary this all seems to you when you are new and sometimes even seasoned bloggers and marketers can become overload with work and information. Consider joining a Blogging and Community like Power Affiliate Club to learn the right way and save yourself a lot of wasted time.
