Live YOUR Dream, Not How Other People See It…

A few weeks ago I was working on a post with my partner, Dave D. Williamson and we came across a photo of me that someone had pasted a crown on my head and labeled me as a: Pyramid Scheme Magnet. I was devastated that someone would say that about me.
I am just an average, normal person trying to do the best I can to earn a living on the internet. I will
admit that I have sometimes not made the best choices in programs that I have joined but my intentions were good. If I felt that after I was involved in a program and I saw that things were not as they were presented to me, I let my followers know and I no longer promoted the program.
If this person that I don’t even know, I have never heard of and I have never talked to has labeled me a “Pyramid Scheme Magnet” for trying, then so be it. I know what my intentions were and people, who know me, know what my intentions were and still are; to help people learn from my mistakes.
…
I was not going to even make this post or mention it but I came across some wise words and felt they were appropriate to put together with this topic.
The 4 Looks of LIFE
1) Look Back & Get Experience
2) Look Forward & See Hope
3) Look Around & See Reality
4) Look Within & Feel Confident
So, what has each of The 4 Looks of Life taught us?
1. Look back and see that even with good intentions you can give out the wrong signals of how to conduct yourself and start a solid business on the internet.
2. You can look forward now and see Hope, since you have gone through your past experience (good or bad) and have created a “future plan.”
3. Just because it’s the internet and things move a little faster, you have to look around and see Reality. Life is not going to be handed to you on a silver platter. You have to sacrifice and you have to work if you want to live your dream.
4. Lastly, with experience, hope and a sense of reality, you can now look within yourself and have the confidence to move forward and not let anyone stop you from achieving your dream.

Monna, your resilience is an inspiration to me. It really is true that no one can judge our motives and as long as we live with integrity, the nay-sayers will say what they will, but the lives we touch in the mean time will never be the same.
Keep reaching forward and touching lives!

@Steve Rice@Karmic Kappuccino, Thanks, Steve. I believe in the end, doing things the “right way” will win out. Sometimes it doesn’t seem that way, though.
You have proven that in getting your book finished and published.
You touch a life, I touch a life and others touch our lives to make it all a better place but some just DO not “get it”. Reminds me of John Lennon’s “Imagine”.
Miss Monna,
Girlfriend, you can wear a crown at my table any day! I know you and love you! Don’t waste precious time worrying about what others think. Spend your time focusing on the greatness that you are and use that greatness to make a difference in the world.
I love the 4 looks of life. Thank you so much for sharing them.
Love,
Tammy

@Tammy Matthews,
and I’m going to get us both one of those crowns one of these days too.
I don’t waste my time any more, just something I had to get out of my system on the post.
I like the “4 Looks of Life” too but for the life of me cannot remember where I found it to give proper credit to the right person.
I’ve missed hearing from you girl. I’m on more strict hours working now, so having a hard time adjusting to that and I’m guessing you may be too.
Love ya too, Monna
Don’t know what caused someone to work VERY hard to modify a picture of another. But, you’re right. Live YOUR dream. If you live someone else’s, you won’t find happiness. Nor, could you reach the goals you want.

@Roy A. Ackerman, Ph.D., E.A., Thanks for stopping by. They probably had nothing better to do. Oh well… I’m getting past it and moving forward.
As a Internet marketer and ‘normal’ person myself I quite understand the impact such a discovery would have. We seek to share the truth about the good programs/opportunities that exist online. The very fact that this person didn’t select a more prominent figure in the world of marketing (such as Mike Glaspie) indicates the individual responsible has a very limited view of the industry. No doubt more a social ‘bully’ and certainly would do well to research some differences in the MLM and pyramid scheme structures. Were they the same then there could not be legitimate MLM business’s as all pyramids were made illegal to protect the unsuspecting, and yet not only do legitimate MLM’s operate, they are actually in some cases endorsed as being very good marketing structures.
@Sean Ladyman, Thank you so much for your comment and I totally agree, there are legitimate MLM’s operating and have been for years. You cannot put all in one basket and label them all the same thing.
