Getting Classes Ready For Book PublishingToday, Amazon released the 2nd edition of my Double Wedding Ring Quilt Pattern book.  I have had a black and white paperback version and a Kindle version up on Amazon for years but decided to publish it in color this time.  But what has this got to do with Getting Classes Ready for Book Publishing?

I will tell you; The main purpose for waiting to release this 2nd edition is because while I went through the publishing process, I recorded my steps so that when I teach the class on uploading your book to Amazon for paperback, I had a refresher course myself and I would not leave out any important steps that you will need to know to publish your own book(s).

I am very glad that I did this. I did have some problems with my cover and submitted a new one quite a few times before I realized what I was doing wrong. You will not have that problem in my class, as the mistakes I made are forever burned in my brain and I won’t let you make the mistakes I did over and over.

This is going to be a short post for this week.  I still have quite a bit of work to do on the formatting and publishing classes in order to get them ready for all the new authors out there waiting to get their books published.

Writing Prompt:
(I saw this prompt and since I am such a Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Time Travel nut, I had to share this one).

You answer an ad that reads: Wanted someone to travel back in time with me. Must have own weapons. Safety not guaranteed. Call…  Provided by

>>>>> If you write a story using the above writing prompt, send it to me at and I may publish it on the Blue Jean Writer’s Voice section of my blog
