Day 161 Weight Loss Journey Keep Me Accountable
I’m now at about 5-1/2 months on this Weight Watchers Smart Points System diet and I’m still on track with a total loss of 30.5 pounds.
I have lost my enthusiasm for doing Facebook Live videos for right now but I will be back doing them soon. I just have some personal stuff going on and I have a hard time faking happy when I’m not.
A friend took me to lunch the other day for my Birthday and I didn’t really pay attention to the points, as she was buying with a coupon but it didn’t seem to hinder my loss for the week.
I’m sure if I did that every other day or something like that, of course I would start gaining weight back but I am really fighting hard to continue losing, no matter how small of an amount it is for the week. The numbers seem to vary from a loss of 1/2 pound to 4 pounds per week.
The main thing for me is that I do feel better. With the extra weight I was lugging around, I was having a hard time breathing and that has improved greatly. Very little shortness of breath at all now.
My daughter’s wedding is in two weeks (August 31st) and I have reached my goal I made for myself which was to lose 30 to 40 pounds by that time. So I should be down another two pounds by the date of her actual wedding.
Then I will set another goal that I will work towards. I believe setting your goals too high in the beginning are a prelude to failure. If I had set my goal for the total amount I want to lose, there is no way I would have made it by the wedding and I would have just given up. So by creating smaller goals that are more attainable, it makes this so much easier.
I also feel that making my “Weight Loss Journey” public online has helped me to stick with it. Those times that I do feel like straying from the diet or cheating, I think of my next “Accountability Report” I will be making and I want to be able to say, “Yes, I’m still on track and I’m still losing weight.”
There are so many diet programs out there and I’m not saying one is better than any other, just that Weight Watchers works for me. >>>> Take at look at Weight Watchers (Aff.) and see if it might be right for you.
In a few months, I will start to post my before and after pictures. It’s still a little too embarrassing at this time to put the pictures up there for all to see.
I’m not sure what I will reward myself with when I do reach my ultimate goal. I’m not crazy about fashion. I’m just a country gal who likes her jeans and T-shirts. Maybe I’ll buy myself a new pair of jeans and a new T-shirt or I might buy another handbag. 🙂
